Cadence controls how often bbuddy creates recurring suggestions and how many drafts it asks the agent to produce for the period.
Where it lives
Open Settings → Preferences. The visible controls are the global default: daily, weekly, or monthly, plus the number of posts per period.
Below the global control is a collapsed Per-channel cadence section. A channel inherits the global setting until you turn on its custom switch.
What the limits mean
- Daily: 1 to 10 posts per day.
- Weekly: 1 to 21 posts per week.
- Monthly: 1 to 50 posts per month.
Connected channels only
You can save an override for a supported channel before it is connected, but recurring suggestions only run for active connected social accounts. Disconnected channels are ignored until you reconnect them.
Changing cadence
Saving a cadence change updates the next recurring generation time. bbuddy uses the earliest due global or per-channel schedule.
When cadence pauses
Recurring suggestions need an active connected channel and enough available BBT. If an account no longer has an active subscription and runs out of BBT, bbuddy stops recurring suggestions instead of continuing to check an empty balance. Add BBT or reactivate a plan, then save the cadence again when you want recurring suggestions to resume.
