The live product has two autopilot choices for recurring suggestions: Suggest only and Full auto. The global choice lives in Settings → Preferences. This is separate from bbuddy mode, where Normal and Smart control how deeply the AI works on each task.
Suggest only
bbuddy creates suggestions and leaves them in the review queue. You review, edit, schedule, publish, or reject them. This is the safer default for new accounts.
Suggestions opens in an Approve view by default: pending posts are listed on the left, the selected preview is shown on the right, and the main actions stay together. After you approve, publish, draft, or reject one suggestion, the next pending item is selected automatically.
Full auto
bbuddy creates suggestions and immediately tries to promote them into scheduled posts across the upcoming cadence period. You can still edit scheduled posts before they publish.
Recommended times
When bbuddy has enough publishing history, it can recommend a publish time for a suggestion based on past performance in your workspace. Approving a suggestion uses that recommendation. If there is not enough history yet, bbuddy falls back to a sensible default and improves as more posts are published.
You can always override the recommendation with Post now or Schedule. The recommendation is a starting point for review, not a locked publishing decision.
Per-channel overrides
Open the collapsed Per-channel autopilot section to override one channel. Channels without an override inherit the global mode.
Recommended rollout
Start with Suggest only. Move one low-risk channel to Full auto after the drafts have been consistently usable. Keep channels with higher brand or compliance risk in Suggest only.
