Your first drafts

What lands in Suggestions, how to review it, and how to turn it into scheduled posts.

6 min readUpdated 2026-06-07

bbuddy stores generated post ideas in Suggestions. A suggestion is not a published post. It is a draft candidate with copy, target platform, optional media, and enough context for you to decide what happens next.

What a suggestion contains

  • A short brief describing the idea.
  • Draft copy in your selected language.
  • One or more target platforms.
  • Optional uploaded or generated media.
  • An optional recommended publish time.
  • Status metadata so accepted, rejected, and scheduled ideas stay separate.

How to review it

Suggestions opens in the focused Approve view. Pick a pending item from the list, read the preview, then choose the next action. If the idea is right but the words are off, edit the draft or ask the assistant for a revision. If the idea is wrong, reject it and ask for a sharper direction.

Suggestion actions

  • Approve: accept bbuddy's recommended time, or publish now when there is no usable recommendation.
  • Post now: publish immediately to the connected platforms on the suggestion.
  • Schedule: choose a different future date and time. The scheduled post appears in Posts and Agenda.
  • Edit: open the suggestion in the composer and change copy, platforms, media, or schedule.
  • Draft: move the suggestion into Posts as a draft without publishing.
  • Duplicate: copy the idea, optionally for a specific platform, so you can adapt it without losing the original.
  • Reject: discard the suggestion. Add feedback when you want bbuddy to learn what to avoid next time.

Turning drafts into posts

When a suggestion is ready, approve it, post it now, save it as a draft, or schedule it from the app flow. bbuddy may recommend a time based on your own publishing history; you can accept it or choose another time. Scheduled posts appear in Agenda. Immediate publishes still use the connected social account and can fail if the platform rejects media or account access has been removed.

Recurring suggestions

Settings do not create a one-time batch screen. They configure recurring suggestions. On your cadence, bbuddy checks connected channels, BBT, and subscription status, then writes new suggestions for the channels that are due.
