Recurring suggestions

How cadence creates suggestions without a separate batch screen.

5 min readUpdated 2026-05-15

bbuddy does not currently expose a manual batch builder. The production path is recurring suggestions: bbuddy generates drafts on the cadence stored in Settings.

When it runs

Open Settings → Preferences to choose a global cadence: daily, weekly, or monthly. You can also open per-channel cadence and override a channel without changing the global default.

What bbuddy checks

  • Auto suggestions must be enabled.
  • The account must have an active or trialing subscription.
  • At least one active social account must have a usable cadence.
  • The account must have BBT available.
  • Generation must be available for the workspace.

What shapes the drafts

Recurring suggestions use the same context as the assistant: the current brand profile, recent Library items, the stored content strategy, connected platforms, language, cadence count, and autopilot mode.

If nothing appears

  • Check that auto suggestions are enabled.
  • Check that at least one account is connected and active.
  • Check BBT in Settings → Usage.
  • Check whether the channel is simply not due yet.
